Life After Doomsday
The title of this exhibition at Vancouver's Access Gallery is taken from a 1960s nuclear survival guidebook. The exhibition, which took place at several venues around the city of Vancouver, is a humorous and thought-provoking take on what is possible after the end times.
This was the first of a series of "Parallel Guidebook" publications in an unconventional brochure format that opened up to reveal a poster inside. The guidebook for Life After Doomsday pays homage to old National Geographic covers of that era. The resulting design is a playful approach that compliments the artist's creative practice.
